Early Career Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design electronics from initial concept through functional prototype including hardware selection and PCB design.
• Perform system-level integration for complex electronic components.
• Troubleshoot issues across both electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
• Create development and testing tools to support internal engineering workflows.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of the production lifecycle.
• Support new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

• Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
• Ability to start full-time employment in 2027.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and common programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Haskell.
• Experience with electronic design automation tools like Altium Designer or equivalent software.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces including Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and Unix/Linux tools.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and current probes.
