What you'll do

Design and develop specialized test equipment for electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical products.
Perform extensive analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers, data acquisition, and filtering.
Create and implement embedded firmware to control hardware using various serial communication protocols.
Utilize CAE tools like Altium and SPICE for circuit design, verification, and board layout.
Troubleshoot hardware and circuits using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators.
Present designs to internal and external customers to review and address technical issues.
Create technical documentation including engineering drawings, calibration procedures, and operating instructions.
Manage engineering changes and configuration processes for hardware and software systems.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a required Secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with 0+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 6+ years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, data acquisition, and power conversion.
Proficiency in schematic capture, board layout, and CAE tools like Altium or SPICE.
Skill in troubleshooting using laboratory equipment and modeling utilities like MATLAB/Simulink.
Ability to lead large-scale technical projects and create expert-level technical documentation (preferred).
