The Senior Electrical Engineer (P3) joins the Automation team to support the life science automation product line. This role involves developing biotech products from initial concept through release and sustainment by translating user needs into robust solutions. The engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and technicians to solve problems identified in production and fielded instruments. Key responsibilities include designing analog and digital circuits, creating printed circuit board assemblies including schematics and layout, and presenting findings during design reviews. Required skills include a degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with circuit design. Preferred competencies include software and firmware knowledge in C/C++ and Python, Cadence PCB and schematic software tools, and experience with lab-built prototypes and ISO quality systems for low volume, high mix products.
