What you'll do

  • Architect moderately complex avionics computer hardware systems containing both digital and analog components.
  • Maintain specialized knowledge of semiconductor processors, System on Chip (SoC), and FPGA component architectures.
  • Conduct and mentor engineers in board-level circuit design, integration, verification, and documentation.
  • Participate in hardware design architectural trade studies, reviews, and proposals for new bids.
  • Resolve complex technical issues in hardware design and manufacturing through data analysis and proactive planning.
  • Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.
  • Lead small projects with moderate risks and manage associated resources.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship status is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in design.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience in digital design (preferred).
  • Proven history of architecting complex digital hardware (preferred).
  • Knowledge of board level digital design processes, high-speed serial links, and aerospace standards like DO-254 (preferred).
  • Proficiency in technical writing and communication (preferred).
  • Export-controlled information.
