Senior Electrical Engineering Technician

What you'll do

• Build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies according to schematics.
• Perform precision PCB rework including SMT and through-hole soldering under a microscope.
• Operate benchtop test equipment like oscilloscopes and signal generators to verify system performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic failures down to the component level using wiring diagrams.
• Document test data, rework actions, and failure modes to support engineering analysis.
• Maintain lab equipment calibration and ensure a clean, safe working environment.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, assembly, and rework in an R&D or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical datasheets.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering following IPC J-STD-001 or equivalent standards.
• Experience building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies per IPC-620 or equivalent standards.
• Ability to diagnose electronic failures to the component level using standard test equipment and documentation.
• Understanding of product development lifecycles, reliability, and compliance testing.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fields is preferred.
