Senior Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end routing, schematic capture, and 3D integration of complex wire harness assemblies for L4 autonomous sensor kits.
• Define network topologies and grounding strategies to ensure robust power distribution redundancy for fail-operational systems.
• Implement shielding, twisting, and physical separation rules to guarantee signal integrity for High-Speed Ethernet channels.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for electrical noise and signal degradation during vehicle prototype builds.
• Execute engineering change orders to support rapid vehicle iteration and fleet testing.
• Partner with Tier 1 suppliers to source automotive-grade connectors and manage drawings for manufacturing feasibility.
• Author validation test plans for mechanical, environmental, and electrical compliance to ensure production-ready hardware.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive wire harness design and development.
• Experience in 2D schematics and 3D physical routing for high-speed data protocols like Automotive Ethernet and CAN/CAN-FD.
• Proficiency in industry-standard EDS design, simulation, and CAD software such as Siemens Capital/CHS, CATIA V5/V6, or AutoCAD.
• Proven track record of designing fail-safe/redundant power distribution systems and fail-operational architectures (preferred).
• Deep understanding of Signal Integrity and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques in complex harness design (preferred).
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive standards including USCAR-2, CISPR 25, ISO 26262, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 (preferred).
• Demonstrated success resolving interdisciplinary electrical and mechanical integration issues during vehicle prototype builds (preferred).
