Senior Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize low power digital and analog circuits for minimal current drain and maximum battery life.
• Generate complex schematics including microprocessors, FPGAs, RF components, and various sensor interfaces.
• Perform PCB layout using tools like Cadence for high-speed routing, part placement, and impedance matching.
• Write technical documentation including test procedures and interface control documents.
• Support the full product development lifecycle from initial architecture and design to factory support and validation.
• Bring up new embedded systems using C/C++ and standard lab equipment like oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.
• Develop product requirements and communicate technical status directly to customers in meetings.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
• 5+ years of experience designing low power digital and analog circuits.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, layout tools (Cadence preferred), and simulation tools like MATLAB, ADS, or PSPICE.
• Experience with microprocessors, memory, power supplies, batteries, and various hardware interfaces such as USB, MIPI, SPI, and I2C.
• Working knowledge of Embedded SW (C/C++) and the ability to bring up new embedded systems.
• Proficiency in lab automation using Python or LabView.
• Experience with lab equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers.
