Senior Vehicle Hardware Engineer, Electrical & System Integration (ADAS / AV)

What you'll do

• Design low-voltage power distribution systems including power sequencing, circuit protection, and battery backup solutions.
• Design and oversee the fabrication of automotive-grade wire harnesses and custom interconnect assemblies.
• Integrate automotive communication buses like CAN-FD and Automotive Ethernet with high-speed sensor data links.
• Implement hardware-level time synchronization protocols such as PTP and PPS.
• Lead electrical bring-up, signal integrity testing, and fault diagnosis on prototype vehicles.
• Define physical interfaces, power budgets, and sensor pinouts for perception and compute software teams.
• Select automotive-grade connectors, fused protection, and high-speed serialization hardware.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in automotive electrical engineering, electrical harness design, or system-level hardware integration for ADAS/AV systems.
• Deep understanding of automotive power electronics, relay/fuse box design, and vehicle networks including CAN, CAN-FD, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands-on proficiency with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Experience selecting automotive-grade connectors, fused protection, and high-speed serialization hardware.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and harness design tools such as E3.series, PCAD, Altium, or Vector Architecture tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with automotive EMC/EMI mitigation techniques and ISO 26262 functional safety considerations for power delivery (preferred).
