Senior Electrical Engineer, Connectivity Design

What you'll do

• Design analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, power distribution systems, and programmable logic controllers.
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues from the system level down to individual components.
• Create detailed technical documentation including schematic captures, wiring diagrams, and design decision reports.
• Develop and implement product validation and verification (V&V) strategies for hardware and software integration.
• Build and maintain custom test tooling such as simulation, emulation, and hardware test tools.
• Manage requirements traceability to ensure all designs meet performance, cost, and compliance specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and research to provide technical recommendations and trade-off analyses.
• Lead the end-to-end development of complex electrical systems while managing cross-functional dependencies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• MS or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience required.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to manage requirements with traceability and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ability to develop electrical engineering concepts, make trade-offs, and resolve issues regarding functionality, cost, and compliance.
• Experience with EDA tools (Mentor Graphics), circuit simulation, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python (preferred).
• Ability to plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) for hardware and systems.
