Test Measurement and Facilities Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design analog and digital circuits, power distribution systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
• Develop hardware for test infrastructure including instrumentation, automation, and data acquisition systems.
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical issues from the system level down to individual components.
• Create technical documentation including schematic captures, wiring diagrams, and detailed design specifications.
• Execute product validation and verification (V&V) strategies to ensure hardware meets performance and safety requirements.
• Develop custom test tooling such as simulation, emulation, and hardware-based testing tools.
• Manage project lifecycles by tracking costs, schedules, risks, and technical requirements for electrical systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage requirements with traceability and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ability to develop electrical engineering concepts, trade-offs, and designs for functionality, cost, and compliance.
• Experience in integration, verification, and validation (V&V) execution to ensure product readiness.
• Proficiency in design software and tools such as Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer, PSpice, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python (preferred).
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot from system to component levels.
• Authorization to access controlled technology as defined by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
