Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead electrical engineering efforts through all phases of capital projects including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and finances to ensure alignment with corporate business objectives.
• Develop technical specifications, cost estimates, and engineering effort forecasts for manufacturing improvements.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and control systems using P&IDs, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Provide hardware and software application support for engineers and operations teams.
• Manage external vendors, engineering firms, and construction contractors to execute project requirements.
• Implement capital building and equipment installations to improve manufacturing performance and safety.
• Develop manufacturing processes and procedures essential for line extensions and new product development.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
• 5-8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing controls.
• Strong technical skills in electrical/instrumentation, industrial power distribution, and Rockwell control systems.
• Working knowledge of NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, and NFPA standards.
• Working knowledge of OT networks including industrial Ethernet, VLANs, switches, firewalls, and secure segmentation.
• Working knowledge of data collection systems such as SCADA, MES, Historian, and SQL.
• Ability to develop, read, and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• Experience managing outside engineering firms, equipment vendors, and construction contractors.
