Key competencies include experience in trust, safety, risk management, and fraud, alongside familiarity with modern identity validation techniques such as digital IDs, adaptive identity, risk-based decisioning, and signal orchestration. The role addresses the technical challenge of scaling resilient, adaptable identity solutions within a high-scale consumer gig-economy environment.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end digital identity strategy with a focus on scalability and dynamic risk mitigation.
  • Define a vision for fraud prevention that anticipates emerging threats like generative AI and synthetic identities.
  • Lead platform and vendor strategy including selection, performance oversight, cost optimization, and configuration.
  • Establish governance, operating rhythms, KPIs, and success metrics to assess risk posture and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security to align digital and physical risk strategies.
  • Provide leadership during platform stability incidents by managing response protocols and systemic improvements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure fraud and identity strategies remain compliant.
  • Represent digital identity strategy and risk outlook in executive and senior leadership forums.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in trust, safety, risk management, fraud, identity, or similar domains.
  • 5+ years of experience leading senior leaders or complex cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience with platform strategy and vendor governance.
  • Experience operating in regulated or highly controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with modern identity validation techniques like digital IDs, adaptive identity, and signal orchestration.
  • Background in e-commerce, retail, gig-economy, or high-scale consumer platforms.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of experience in project/program management or operations.
  • Option 2: 9 years of experience in project/program management or operations and 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Master’s degree in a related field and 6 years of experience in project/program management or operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
