What you'll do

Lead identity, authentication, and customer-access technology programs to achieve firmwide modernization and developer productivity goals.
Manage strategic areas including identity architecture, authentication engineering, developer tooling, and site reliability for CIAM services.
Provide high-level direction to software engineering and platform teams across public cloud and hybrid environments.
Act as the primary interface with senior executives to balance security, customer experience, and regulatory requirements.
Drive the adoption of IAM standards and modernize CI/CD, testing, and observability practices across the organization.
Champion an AI-augmented engineering culture by defining and tracking KPIs for code velocity and automated code reviews.
Set the vision and roadmap for agentic capabilities, including autonomous runbooks and policy-as-code validation agents.
Architect and operationalize secure-by-design systems for high-availability customer identity services.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists, including platform, application, and SRE functions.
Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field with familiarity with distributed systems.
Extensive practical cloud-native experience on AWS with secure-by-default patterns and cost-aware scaling.
Deep hands-on understanding of IAM standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, FIDO2, and WebAuthn.
Proven ability to deploy AI tools to boost developer productivity and experience architecting agentic systems for CIAM use cases.
Experience with CIAM products like Ping Identity or ForgeRock (preferred).
