What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
Experience leading large or cross-functional teams including platform, application, and SRE functions for high-availability identity services.
Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with strong systems thinking and distributed systems knowledge.
Extensive practical cloud-native experience on AWS using secure-by-default patterns and cost-aware scaling.
Deep hands-on understanding of IAM standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, FIDO2, and WebAuthn.
Proven ability to deploy AI tools for developer productivity and architect agentic systems for CIAM use cases.
Security, risk, and compliance fluency for identity, including familiarity with NIST SP 800-63 guidelines.
Experience with CIAM products like Ping Identity or ForgeRock (preferred).
Background with customer fraud/risk signals and adaptive authentication orchestration (preferred).
Familiarity with API security best practices and zero-trust-aligned access strategies (preferred).
Experience in observability for identity services and incident response for security events (preferred).
Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks like React and Next.js (preferred).
