What you'll do

Deliver the enterprise vision and multi-year roadmap for CI/CD, release engineering, and environment automation.
Lead cross-portfolio platform engineering to build scalable pipeline frameworks and reusable components.
Translate business needs into end-to-end architecture solutions and standardized technical requirements.
Manage the full environment lifecycle through infrastructure as code and automated provisioning.
Coach engineering teams by setting technical direction, running design reviews, and removing blockers.
Ensure security, compliance, and resilience are embedded across all tooling and processes.
Establish and enforce release governance standards including change controls and artifact management.
Provide hands-on technical leadership in Java and Python to optimize build performance and supply chain security.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to solve complex technical problems within the domain.
Demonstrated ownership of CI/CD, release engineering, and environment automation at scale.
Strong technical depth in Java and Python for architecture guidance, code review, and team support.
Proven expertise in environment management, lifecycle management, and infrastructure as code.
Experience driving reliability, observability, and operational readiness with measurable performance metrics.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and make decisions in ambiguous environments.
