As the Senior Director of Software Engineering - Equity Plan Services Platform Team, you will lead multiple technical areas and manage several departments to drive adoption of modern engineering methods. You will work hands-on with the engineering team to build and maintain a high-throughput, regulated financial system handling trade execution, RSU/ESPP release processing, cash movement orchestration, and client reporting. What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items.
Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists.
Expert-level backend engineering in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Hibernate/JPA) and/or Python with strong SQL and NoSQL data modeling.
Deep AWS experience including ECS/EKS, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, and CloudWatch to design and operate cloud-native systems.
Hands-on Apache Kafka experience involving topic design, consumer group management, and stream processing patterns.
Solid grasp of distributed systems fundamentals such as consistency models, CAP trade-offs, and distributed transactions.
Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models and understanding of responsible AI risk and controls.
