What you'll do

Build and scale an engineering organization including hiring, structure, culture, and performance management for the Dependency Explorer platform.
Lead the development of core platform components including data ingestion pipelines, dependency graph modeling, and developer-facing interfaces.
Make key architectural decisions on a modern AWS and Java stack to support firm-wide scale.
Establish strategy and operating standards for agentic AI-enabled engineering to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Integrate AI tools into the software development life cycle to automate tasks like incident triage and release gating.
Represent engineering interests in cross-functional discussions with security, risk, compliance, and other firm-wide partners.
Translate complex technical work into clear business impact for senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
Manage the transition of the product from initial concept through first release and iterative improvement.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
10+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items.
Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models.
Deep understanding of responsible AI risk, controls, and security expectations at scale.
Proven track record of shipping Version 1 products from concept through first release.
Extensive practical cloud native experience with AWS.
Experience building, developing, and recognizing talent within large or cross-functional teams.
