Senior Design Technologist, Design Systems

What you'll do

• Translate design intent into scalable, system-driven UI components and architectures.
• Integrate AI into design workflows to automate token generation, component scaffolding, and content population.
• Build and maintain a multi-platform design system with reusable UI components and design tokens.
• Develop internal tools, scripts, and plugins to optimize design-to-code workflows and engineering efficiency.
• Ensure consistency between design artifacts in Figma and production code across all platforms.
• Advocate for and implement accessible, high-quality UX in AI-assisted or AI-generated interfaces.
• Conduct audits of UI quality and AI-assisted outputs to ensure transparency and mitigate bias.
• Create system documentation, usage guidelines, and governance models for the design system.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in a relevant role such as a design technologist, UX/UI engineer, or product designer.
• Expert proficiency with Figma 124.4+ including variable maintenance, components, styles, and shared libraries.
• Strong front-end development skills in a major framework including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of design systems, component architecture, and design tokens.
• Experience creating and maintaining component libraries.
• Proficiency using an IDE such as Cursor or Claude.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI into design workflows to test ideas and communicate solutions.
• Experience with enterprise, platforms, and/or internal tools (preferred).
