JOB TITLE: Senior Product Designer, AI Enablement
The Senior Product Designer, AI Enablement joins the Advertising Experience Design Foundations team to architect paved paths for agentic platform experiences across the Netflix Ads Suite. This role focuses on defining the underlying systems, patterns, and intelligent infrastructure that allow vertical squads to integrate AI seamlessly. You will build an intelligent UI library featuring chat interfaces, agentic feedback loops, and human-in-the-loop interventions supported by machine-consumable documentation and schemas. Key responsibilities include operationalizing agentic workflows, refactoring legacy UI into structured models, and building high-fidelity functional proof-of-concepts. Required skills include proficiency in LLMs, media generation models, and AI-native environments like Cursor or Claude Code. You must demonstrate expertise in React, HTML, CSS, prompt engineering, and structured content modeling to solve complex AdTech platform scaling problems.
Architect the systems architecture for an intelligent UI library including chat interfaces and agentic feedback loops.
Establish machine-consumable documentation, schemas, and metadata to enable AI services to ingest the design system.
Partner with Engineering to operationalize agentic workflows that automate high-friction tasks for customers and internal users.
Refactor legacy UI documentation into a single, structured model that serves as a source of truth for humans and AI.
Build high-fidelity, functional proof-of-concepts using AI-assisted coding and prototyping tools to demonstrate complex interactions.
Serve as the quality gatekeeper for AI-generated outputs to ensure they align with trust and usability standards.
Mentor the design organization on AI fluency and workflows that orchestrate how products are built.
Act as a strategic bridge between Product Design and Machine Learning Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and performance.
What we're looking for
5 to 7 or more years of experience in product design with a proven track record of shipping complex systems architecture or foundational infrastructure.
Outstanding proficiency in the modern AI stack, including LLMs and media generation models, to augment design systems.
Growing understanding of agentic systems and architectures, including reusable workflows, safety guardrails, and context isolation.
Deep understanding of how design systems and platform architectures scale for dynamic or non-deterministic content.
Ability to navigate ambiguity to move from high-level visions to lean, implementable solutions with platform-wide impact.
Experience in the AdTech and Enterprise B2B ecosystems (preferred).
Proficiency in structured content modeling and leveraging AI to write functional code in React, HTML, or CSS for platform tooling (preferred).
Hands-on expertise in prompt engineering, AI-augmented design workflows, and intent-based navigation patterns (preferred).
