Senior DBA

What you'll do

• Write and review stored procedures, functions, and programmable objects for high-volume transaction processing.
• Tune queries for optimal performance by examining execution plans and ensuring appropriate indexing.
• Design and model database schemas, including tables, views, and triggers.
• Monitor and maintain database CI/CD DevOps tooling and update/rollback scripts.
• Review application code in the data access layer to ensure performance and security.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and fix complex application problems.
• Write and maintain unit tests and a library of query performance baselines.
• Train and mentor junior team members on SQL Server setups and troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in database administration.
• Experience writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex queries (preferred).
• Experience with performance tuning (preferred).
• Knowledge of payment systems and solutions (preferred).
• Strong communication, writing, and diagramming skills (preferred).
• Experience with GoLang (preferred).
