Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform system analysis and programming to deliver high-quality software into production.
• Develop, test, and review applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Create and modify code while considering the impact on end users and internal teams.
• Lead technical support for applications from initial code delivery until retirement.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to provide timely resolutions.
• Create required technical documentation and participate in defining departmental standards.
• Lead unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability, security, and performance.
• Contribute to product architecture and participate in cross-functional technical discussions.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with modern Java (Java 11, 17 or 21+) including multithreading/concurrency and object oriented programming.
• Ability to write complex queries, joins, aggregations and CTEs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM field (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, domain/industry knowledge, and business issues (preferred).
• Ability to lead complex and diverse projects (preferred).
• Strong skills in software design, implementation, research, analysis, and problem resolution (preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of all phases of the development cycle including concept, design, testing, and release (preferred).
