What you'll do

Design, optimize, and modernize enterprise data environments using Microsoft SQL Server.
Manage performance baselines, query optimization, and indexing strategies for large datasets.
Implement secure access controls and ensure compliance with government data frameworks.
Coordinate database migrations and manage high availability architectures in Azure environments.
Develop disaster recovery plans, backup/restore strategies, and audit procedures.
Build dashboards and reports using Power BI or SQL Reporting tools.
Support Agile project structures including sprint releases and backlog refinement.
Manage records lifecycle processes including data cataloging, retention, and archival.

What we're looking for

15+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator in DoD or DoW environments.
Experience with MSFT SQL Server within an Enterprise Azure environment.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex data architectures.
Experience managing large/sensitive datasets, secure access controls, and compliance frameworks.
Experience building dashboards or reports using Power BI or SQL Reporting.
Ability to support Agile delivery, including sprint releases and backlog refinement.
Ability to implement data governance, backup/restore strategies, disaster recovery, and auditing.
Bachelor’s degree; Secret clearance required (Top Secret clearance and Master's degree preferred).
