Senior Customer Engineer, Majors serves as a primary architect and trusted technical advisor within the Go-To-Market organization. You will also leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and manage technical hurdles. This role solves critical infrastructure problems by ensuring high availability and security for web traffic while driving measurable business outcomes through strategic consulting and proactive technical health monitoring.
Lead technical discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to Cloudflare products like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust.
Design and deliver tailored architectural diagrams, technical presentations, and demonstrations to address specific customer challenges.
Manage the full customer lifecycle by overseeing onboarding, migration blueprints, and ongoing technical health monitoring.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives by translating technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and conducting technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Utilize AI tools and LLMs to automate routine tasks like RFP responses, documentation, and telemetry monitoring.
Create and maintain internal and external technical resources, including Standard Operating Procedures and best practice guides.
What we're looking for
Must have experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
Ability to translate deeply technical concepts into business outcomes for both engineers and C-level executives.
Must demonstrate depth in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM utilization, and workflow automation is required.
An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
