Senior Customer Engineer, Majors

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery to map customer infrastructure to Cloudflare architectures and bespoke solutions.
• Define and scope success criteria for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical evaluations.
• Deliver architectural diagrams and technical presentations to address security and performance challenges.
• Design structured migration blueprints and provide configuration best practices for customer engineering teams.
• Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value and resolve integration bottlenecks.
• Carry a variable quota for new business acquisition, account growth, and platform adoption.
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into ROI for executives.
• Use AI agents and LLMs to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning.

What we're looking for

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering.
• Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for engineers and C-level executives.
• Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics.
• Depth in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, or regulatory requirements like PCI DSS (preferred).
