Senior Customer Engineer, Enterprise AI

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and design bespoke architectures for Cloudflare's security, networking, and developer platforms.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to prospective enterprise customers.
• Manage the full technical relationship from initial discovery through onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
• Oversee technical onboarding and implementation to ensure rapid time-to-value for new accounts.
• Identify and drive strategic cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on platform usage data.
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform metrics into C-level ROI.
• Advise key stakeholders on architecture best practices, security posture, and platform strategy.
• Represent the company at industry events, developer communities, and cybersecurity conferences.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must currently be located in the San Francisco/Bay Area.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions, Customer, or Sales Engineering is required.
• Deep understanding of the life of a request on the internet is required.
• Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) is required.
• Exceptional communication skills for both technical whiteboard sessions and C-suite business reviews are required.
• Experience integrating AI-augmented workflows into daily development cycles is required.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare's Developer and AI platform is preferred.
• Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
