Senior Customer Engineer, Enterprise AI

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and design bespoke architectures for security, networking, and developer platforms.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to prospective customers.
• Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial technical onboarding through implementation and adoption.
• Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on platform usage data.
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform metrics into C-level ROI.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders ranging from engineering leads to CISOs and CTOs.
• Build technical champions and executive relationships within target accounts to drive growth.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must currently reside in the San Francisco/Bay Area.
• Experience is required in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions, Customer, Sales, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Applicants must have a deep understanding of "The Life of a Request" on the internet.
• Required expertise includes web security (WAF, DDoS, TLS, Zero Trust), networking (BGP, DNS, SD-WAN, TCP/IP), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Candidates must demonstrate AI-native development by integrating AI-augmented workflows into their daily development cycles.
• Exceptional communication skills are required to engage with both technical engineers and C-suite executives.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go is preferred for writing integration scripts and edge computing functions.
• Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws is required.
