What you'll do

Design and implement scalable components for distributed systems using distributed state management tools.
Develop backend services, APIs, and web-based operator experiences for the OCI Product Catalog.
Build fault-tolerant systems by implementing redundancy, replication, circuit breakers, and automatic failover mechanisms.
Create monitoring infrastructure including custom dashboards, telemetry systems, and automated alerting configurations.
Perform load testing, fault injection, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and correctness.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and automation tools for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Manage security requirements by implementing encryption, access controls, and remediation plans in multi-tenant environments.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and the creation of operational runbooks.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Must be proficient in Java or comparable object-oriented programming.
Must have experience in backend service and API development.
Must possess full-stack development experience, including modern web UI development.
Must have a strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
Must have experience designing and delivering production-quality software.
Must possess strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
