Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and optimize distributed system components for high scalability, resiliency, and large-scale data processing.
• Build fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, automatic failover, circuit breakers, and retry mechanisms.
• Develop automated infrastructure (IaC) and tooling to streamline troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Create monitoring dashboards, telemetry systems, and alert configurations to proactively detect system failures.
• Participate in incident response, perform root cause analyses, and author operational runbooks.
• Implement advanced security controls including encryption and access management for multi-tenant environments.
• Execute performance and load testing to ensure system correctness and stability under stress.

What we're looking for

• Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience designing and optimizing components in distributed systems for scalability, resiliency, and operability is required.
• Ability to implement fault-tolerant paths including redundancy, replication, automatic failover, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Proficiency in developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience implementing advanced security controls such as encryption and access management in multi-tenant environments.
• Ability to perform load testing, develop telemetry systems, and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
