What you'll do

Design, develop, and manage control systems for manufacturing from initial ideation through commissioning and hand-off.
Architect, write, and debug object-oriented PLC logic for high-volume manufacturing applications.
Establish and enforce internal standards for control system architectures, regulatory compliance, and safety buyoffs.
Integrate internal and external manufacturing software into automation equipment and production lines.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve automation failures and ensure long-term reliability.
Design functional HMI and SCADA screens using Ignition by Inductive Automation.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Person for access to export controlled information or facilities.
Must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with relevant experience.
6+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
Strong PLC programming skills on both Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms.
Knowledge of NFPA70, NFPA70E, NFPA79, and UL508A standards.
Proficiency with electrical design CAD software (AutoCAD Elec, Eplan) and Ignition SCADA development.
Proficiency in servo drive/VFD configuration, PID tuning, and IT/OT systems; experience integrating with MES and QMS.
UL508A MTR Certification (preferred).
Ignition Gold Certification (preferred).
TUV FS Engineer Certification (preferred).
