As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect within the Support for Mission Critical team, you will serve as a key technical resource focused on ensuring the health and performance of critical customer solutions. You will deliver proactive services including education workshops, assessments, and tailored guidance while collaborating with support and engineering teams to resolve incidents. Your daily work involves managing goals across Azure to improve solution availability, identifying performance issues, and providing technical troubleshooting for large enterprise customers. The role requires expertise in Azure IaaS areas such as storage, networking, compute, and high availability features, along with knowledge of SAP on Azure. You will utilize your skills in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and network operations to manage complex projects and build strategic relationships while navigating technically demanding situations to ensure optimal performance for mission-critical environments.
Deliver proactive and reactive technical support for mission-critical customer solutions in Azure.
Conduct education workshops and assessments to provide tailored guidance on solution performance.
Identify and manage opportunities to improve customer solution health, availability, and performance.
Resolve critical incidents by collaborating with support teams and product engineering stakeholders.
Develop and execute mobile-first and cloud-first strategies for long-term service delivery.
Analyze performance issues and provide technical solutions to meet specific customer needs.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high quality of service during critical incidents.
Communicate service offerings clearly to customers and internal account teams.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other required security screenings.
8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, or architecture (preferred).
Master's Degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in cloud technology or architecture (preferred).
4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (preferred).
4+ years of experience working on technical projects (preferred).
Technical Certification in Cloud, such as Azure, AWS, Google, or security certifications (preferred).
Subject Matter Expertise in SAP on Azure and one or more Azure IaaS areas like Storage, Networking, or Compute (preferred).
