As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer on the Azure Dedicated team, you will build, scale, and operate next-generation networking infrastructure for private and hybrid cloud solutions. You will design, implement, and manage end-to-end network architectures including ExpressRoute and SDN-based solutions while integrating third-party platforms like VMware, Nutanix, NetApp, Arista, Cisco, and HPE. Your daily work involves optimizing performance, reliability, and security for mission-critical environments, contributing to live-site operations, automation, and observability initiatives. You will solve complex technical challenges related to workload migration and disaster recovery. The role requires expertise in BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, IPsec, and routing/switching architectures. You will utilize Azure Networking services such as VNet, Private Link, and NSGs alongside automation tools including Ansible, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell to deliver seamless customer experiences across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
Design, implement, and manage end-to-end network architectures for Azure Dedicated environments.
Integrate and validate third-party platforms like VMware and Nutanix with Azure networking services.
Optimize network performance, reliability, and security across large-scale, mission-critical cloud environments.
Contribute to live-site operations, automation, and observability initiatives to improve uptime.
Enable customer scenarios such as workload migration, hybrid connectivity, and disaster recovery through robust designs.
Troubleshoot complex networking issues in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
What we're looking for
A Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation are required.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of technical experience in network design, development, and automation are required.
Equivalent experience to the specified educational and experience requirements is accepted.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check and meet other government security screening requirements.
Experience delivering network designs into production with live site accountability (preferred).
Foundation in networking concepts including BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, SDN, IPsec, and routing/switching architectures (preferred).
1+ years of experience with Azure Networking or equivalent cloud services, enterprise network devices, and automation tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, or PowerShell (preferred).
