Senior Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and design of cloud network infrastructure including intra-DC, inter-DC, Corp IT, and Internet connectivity.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot entire network stacks across various distributed computing environments.
• Automate end-to-end network infrastructure processes for provisioning, management, and monitoring.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts to create automation tools, dashboards, and alarm systems.
• Design and deploy large-scale networks supporting thousands of machines and users.
• Optimize high-performance networks in highly-available, multi-site, and international environments.
• Manage complex networking protocols including MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, and EVPN.
• Build and manage physical infrastructure such as POPs, large-scale WANs, and peering connections.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in networking, specifically with Arista switches.
• Expert knowledge of large-scale IP networking technologies including MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, and EVPN.
• Experience with peering and datacenter interconnect technologies such as PNI, Transit, Exchange, and Passive DWDM.
• Ability to write and understand Python or Shell scripts for network automation and monitoring.
• Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale networks (1000s of machines) in distributed computing environments.
• Experience with high-performance network optimization in highly-available, multi-site, international environments.
• Familiarity with Arista, Cumulus OS, and Fortinet OS.
