Senior Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and design of cloud network infrastructure including intra-DC, inter-DC, and Internet connectivity.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot entire network stacks across the software stack.
• Automate network infrastructure end-to-end for provisioning, management, and monitoring.
• Design and build large-scale networks and POPs for thousands of machines and users.
• Optimize high-performance networks in highly-available, multisite, and international environments.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts for network automation tools, frameworks, and dashboards.
• Deploy network services in various distributed computing environments using Arista and Cumulus OS.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in networking, specifically with Arista switches.
• BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert knowledge of IP networking protocols including MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, and MACsec.
• Hands-on experience with Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies like PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, and Wave circuits.
• Ability to write and understand Python/Shell scripts for network automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, and alarms.
• Proven track record of architecting and deploying large-scale networks (1000s of machines) in distributed computing environments.
• Experience with Arista, Cumulus OS, and Fortinet OS.
• Hands-on background with building tooling and automation for provisioning, monitoring, and managing network infrastructure (preferred).
