Leidos seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join its Intelligence Sector, Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) team. This role involves advanced network engineering support for complex enterprise and mission networks, focusing on performance optimization and architectural improvements across LAN, CAN, WAN, and telecommunications environments. The engineer will design, integrate, configure, deploy, test, maintain, and enhance network devices, implement solutions like load balancing and traffic shaping, and resolve complex issues using diagnostic tools. They will also collaborate with operations personnel to ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and DoD/IC standards while contributing to the continuous improvement of network architecture. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus twelve years of experience or equivalent work experience, along with IAT Level I certification and active TS/SCI clearance. Proficiency in networking technologies such as LAN/WAN/CAN/Wi-Fi, VoIP, IPSec, and NAT is essential.
Analyze and optimize end-to-end system performance to minimize latency and maximize throughput.
Design and integrate network solutions across LAN, CAN, WAN, and telecommunications systems.
Implement advanced network features like load balancing, firewalls, and traffic shaping.
Contribute to the architectural design of mission-critical networks to support evolving requirements.
Resolve complex network issues using diagnostic tools such as network analyzers and simulators.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 12+ years of network engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
IAT Level I certification per DoD standards.
Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
Expertise in troubleshooting advanced network performance issues using diagnostic tools.
Experience supporting network operations and maintaining compliance with ISO 9000 and DoD/IC standards.
