As a Senior Network and Cloud Engineer in the Global Technology team, you will partner with product owners and engineers to improve cloud platform and network infrastructure experiences. You will design, plan, and maintain applications and network services in cloud-based environments while solving complex business problems through hybrid connectivity solutions. Your daily responsibilities include managing AWS Transit Gateways, Cloud WAN core networks, and Direct Connect circuits, alongside designing hybrid DNS architectures across on-premises and cloud environments. To succeed, you must apply deep networking fundamentals like BGP, TCP/IP, and the OSI model while utilizing tools such as Python, Shell, Groovy, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform. You will also manage Route 53 Resolver endpoints and develop automation to support multi-region deployments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms to ensure robust, scalable infrastructure for the organization.
Design, configure, and troubleshoot AWS Transit Gateway attachments, route tables, and peering connections.
Manage Cloud WAN core network policies, segments, and attachment associations across multi-region deployments.
Coordinate with the Core Network team on Direct Connect implementations, circuit provisioning, and fault resolution.
Deliver hybrid connectivity solutions including AWS Transit Gateways, Cloud WAN, and Direct Connect circuits.
Design and support hybrid DNS architectures using Route 53 Resolver endpoints and forwarding rules.
Develop automation for network infrastructure using Python, Shell/PowerShell, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Create corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity to drive business value.
Translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs that align with security and compliance standards.
What we're looking for
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including BGP, TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols, and firewall/ACL concepts.
Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect (DX), and VPC routing.
Experience in designing and supporting hybrid DNS architectures using AWS Route 53 Resolver.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Shell/Power scripting, Groovy, and automation frameworks like Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with Azure or GCP equivalent networking services (preferred).
Cloud or network related certification (preferred).
Experience in the financial or insurance industry (preferred).
