Senior Network and Cloud Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot AWS Transit Gateway attachments, route tables, and peering connections.
• Manage Cloud WAN core network policies, segments, and attachment associations across multi-region deployments.
• Collaborate with the Core Network team on Direct Connect implementations, circuit provisioning, and fault resolution.
• Deliver computing and network infrastructure services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Design and support hybrid DNS architectures using AWS Route 53 Resolver endpoints and forwarding rules.
• Develop automation for network infrastructure using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Create corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity requirements to drive business value.
• Translate business needs into technical designs that align with security, compliance, and operational standards.

What we're looking for

• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals including BGP, TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols, and firewall/ACL concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking services including Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, VPC routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Shell/Power scripting, Groovy, and modern languages.
• Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of hybrid DNS design, including AWS Route 53 Resolver endpoints, forwarding rules, and split-horizon DNS.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices such as automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud or network related certification (preferred); experience in financial/insurance industry (preferred).
