What you'll do

  • Operate, implement, and maintain wireless communication system testing infrastructure.
  • Design and implement software for automated testing and data logging.
  • Validate new designs by troubleshooting and qualifying performance against engineering requirements.
  • Conduct lab testing using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and wireless channel emulators.
  • Perform field testing to qualify system performance in practical environments.
  • Execute demonstrations of advanced MANET radios and other wireless technologies.
  • Support the R&D team in identifying and resolving technical issues during product development.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development, testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and Python with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in embedded firmware development, testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and Python with an advanced degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in wireless/networking or an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience using lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements.
