Senior AWS Developer

What you'll do

• Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across various systems and applications.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and S3.
• Use Terraform to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning, automation, and environment management.
• Develop enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot while following agile practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, automated testing, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Analyze complex problems to develop innovative approaches that improve system performance and reliability.
• Support and guide team members by sharing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative development environment.
• Identify opportunities to enhance development processes and tools through continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Must be eligible to work on projects requiring citizenship clearance requirements.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS services.
• Expert proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Proven expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (preferred).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Core Java is recommended (preferred).
