What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
Drive the full development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, and technical specification writing.
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation while maintaining existing software functionality.
Analyze code to identify errors and perform peer code reviews to ensure quality standards.
Create and maintain test plans, scripts, and documentation for automated and manual testing.
Serve as a technical expert and mentor junior engineers on technical aspects of their assignments.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting UAT and production applications.
Lead software design meetings and collaborate with end users to prototype and refine requirements.

What we're looking for

Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5 or more years of related industry experience is required.
Must be competent in Java, C#, C++, or Objective-C programming with at least 5 years of experience.
Must be competent with SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience with source code control systems and secure programming techniques is highly desirable.
Experience with automated functional software testing frameworks like Cucumber or Selenium is required.
Advanced knowledge of QA/QC techniques is required, with certifications preferred.
FinTech or payments experience is highly beneficial.
