What you'll do

Design, implement, and deploy secure, resilient, and highly scalable services that integrate with enterprise systems.
Execute software solutions and technical troubleshooting using non-conventional approaches to solve complex technical problems.
Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to generate code, refactor systems, and create unit tests.
Define and implement guardrails and evaluation approaches for agentic AI used in production applications.
Apply backend infrastructure patterns like load balancing and autoscaling while implementing monitoring and alerting.
Analyze large data sets to develop visualizations and identify patterns that improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Drive consistent validation standards including secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing across the team.
Lead and mentor junior team members while managing multiple deliverables across various business groups.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in computer science or software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
10+ years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale distributed systems, primarily in Java, modern Java/Spring Boot microservices, and Python.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency.
Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, Spark, SQL, and big data processing.
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration, AWS services (Terraform, EMR, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3), and log analytics tools.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
