What you'll do

Develop, design, and troubleshoot complex software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
Integrate enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, documentation, and development speed.
Design and deploy secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservices that integrate with enterprise systems.
Implement backend infrastructure patterns including load balancing, autoscaling, and monitoring for system reliability.
Define and implement guardrails for agentic AI used in production applications to ensure safety and performance.
Analyze large datasets to identify hidden patterns and drive improvements to system architecture and coding hygiene.
Mentor junior team members and manage multiple deliverables across various business groups.
Ensure all software meets strict requirements for security, governance, auditability, and automated testing standards.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in computer science or software engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
10+ years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Python.
Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools to generate, validate, and refine code for performance and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, Spark, SQL, Kubernetes, and AWS services (Terraform, EMR, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3).
Experience with log analytics tools, CI/CD, and experience with Scala or Snowflake/Databricks platforms (preferred); Iceberg exposure (preferred).
