Senior Associate, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Implement complex IP-based radio system networks and Information Assurance products for Land Mobile Radio systems.
• Deploy systems based on approved designs while maintaining high standards for security, availability, and performance.
• Lead implementation teams by defining engineering schedules and providing technical leadership.
• Resolve customer issues aggressively and deliver clear statements of work for subcontractors.
• Maintain technical documentation and configuration revision control following established ISO processes.
• Participate in technical planning, system integration, functional verification, and performance validation.
• Identify potential design issues early in the contracting process and offer technical solutions.
• Perform factory staging and verification of systems with approximately 40% field travel.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience, a Graduate Degree and 0 to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
• 3-6 years of technical experience in Land Mobile Radio, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Practical hands-on field experience in RF/LMR system design, staging, configuration, and implementation of complex radio systems (preferred).
• Experience in design of IP networks, RF antenna systems, microwave systems, wireless data systems, and data networking (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as Network+, Security+, Linux+, or CCNA (preferred).
• Ability to work within a cross-functional team environment with effective verbal and written English communication skills (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, and excellent troubleshooting skills (preferred).
