What you'll do

Design complex Land Mobile Radio system solutions that satisfy specific customer requirements.
Perform site visits to analyze existing customer technical assets.
Craft high-quality proposal text and drawings describing technical solutions.
Present technical solutions and product information to customers and professional organizations.
Coordinate the technical transition of designs to implementation system engineers after contract awards.
Participate in discussions with customers, consultants, and vendors to advance projects.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience, a 2-year degree and 6 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience without a degree.
Must be able to obtain a US Security clearance.
Must be a US citizen.
Ability to travel 10% and work extended hours as required.
Knowledge of LMR communications systems (P25, Tetra, DMR, Microwave, LTE) and public safety grade mobile voice and data networks (preferred).
Experience in telecommunication systems design involving LMR, microwave, wireless data, and IP networks (preferred).
Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, including coverage analysis, frequency reuse, and traffic/capacity modeling (preferred).
Good written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences (preferred).
