The Senior Associate, Systems Engineering joins the Force Protection Solutions team to support US Navy fleet assets. Required skills include knowledge of radar, RF systems, signals, and emitters, alongside experience with hardware and software integration. Preferred technical competencies include modeling and simulation for performance analysis, data interpretation from flight events, and proficiency with MATLAB or Python.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, test, install, and sustain complex electro-mechanical systems for US Navy fleet assets.
  • Develop, decompose, and trace technical requirements throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Write test plans and procedures for the verification and validation of component and system functions.
  • Conduct technical planning and analysis activities from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Integrate hardware and software on complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Analyze data from lab, simulation, or flight/test events to characterize system performance.
  • Perform modeling and simulation for electronic warfare performance analysis.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a degree and at least 2 years of related experience, a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET level security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for a security clearance.
  • Must have experience with design and test of Electronic Warfare systems, including electronic attack, support, and protection.
  • Must have experience developing, decomposing, and tracing technical requirements and writing test plans or procedures.
  • Must have knowledge of radar, RF systems, signals, emitters, and threat environments.
  • Must have experience with hardware/software integration on complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Must have familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or similar analysis tools (preferred).
