Senior Associate, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Develop advanced communication subsystem hardware and software for space, ground, and airborne applications.
• Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from customer specifications to system level requirements.
• Generate technical documentation including interface control documents, test plans, and verification cross-reference matrices.
• Manage multi-disciplined engineering teams and subcontractors through the full development lifecycle.
• Oversee project management tasks including schedule planning, budget tracking, risk management, and subcontract control.
• Lead system integration, verification, and qualification events to ensure technical performance and quality.
• Present design reviews and technical capabilities to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Support new business development by participating in RFIs and RFPs for technical capability demonstrations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of experience, a Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree.
• Must currently have, and be able to maintain, an active U.S. Government DOD Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience in requirements management and documentation is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and formal presentation skills are required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, DOORs, or similar tools.
• Leadership skills to guide technical direction and contribute to integrated product teams (preferred).
• Understanding of communication theory and knowledge of digital, RF, mechanical, network, or software design (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
