Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft.
• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools like Capital Harness or NX.
• Conduct research and prepare engineering drawings to meet specific project requirements.
• Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams to minimize costs.
• Perform electrical load analysis and develop load shedding schemes for various aircraft platforms.
• Support the testing and integration of avionics, RF, LAN, and sensor systems on aircraft.
• Adhere to technical process specifications and established design methodologies.
• Work in aircraft hangar environments and travel to the flight line as required.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to travel to and work in flight line and aircraft hangar environments.
• Previous experience in the defense aerospace industry (preferred).
• Experience interpreting SOW, requirements, and Systems Definition (preferred).
• Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
