What you'll do

Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft.
Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools like Capital Harness or NX.
Conduct research and prepare engineering drawings to meet specific project requirements.
Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.
Perform electrical load analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
Support the testing and integration of systems directly on aircraft platforms.
Ensure all designs meet technical requirements while minimizing production costs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to travel to and from flight lines and work in aircraft hangar environments.
Previous experience in the defense aerospace industry (preferred).
Experience interpreting SOW, requirements, and Systems Definition (preferred).
Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
