Specialist, Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on aircraft and ground stations.
• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools like Capital Harness or NX.
• Research and prepare engineering drawings while coordinating design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production.
• Lead a team of junior engineers by breaking down requirements, work packages, and providing budget estimates.
• Train and mentor entry-level design engineers on project tasks and technical practices.
• Perform electrical load analysis and develop load shedding schemes for various aircraft systems.
• Support the testing and integration of electronic subsystems directly on aircraft platforms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 2 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to travel to flight lines and work in aircraft hangar environments.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Capital Harness or NX.
• Experience in the defense aerospace industry (preferred).
• Experience interpreting SOW, requirements, and Systems Definition (preferred).
• Knowledge of CAD and PLM software including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
• Active secret security clearance or higher (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
