As a Senior Associate, Electrical Engineer 1, you will join the engineering team to design and develop electrical systems for integrating electronic equipment on military and commercial aircraft as well as ground stations. Your daily responsibilities include researching and preparing engineering drawings, coordinating design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams, and performing systems integration. You will create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools such as NX and Siemens Capital Harness software. The role involves developing Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Sensor Systems, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, and load shedding schemes. To succeed, you must possess skills in PLM software like Teamcenter, an understanding of basic aircraft systems, and the ability to work in flight line environments while ensuring designs meet requirements at minimum cost.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to travel to flight lines and work in aircraft hangar environments.
Experience in the defense aerospace industry (preferred).
Experience interpreting SOW, requirements, and Systems Definition (preferred).
Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
Knowledge of Siemens Capital software (preferred).
Active secret security clearance or higher (preferred).
