Senior Associate Electrical Engineer I

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on aircraft and ground stations.
• Create system wiring diagrams using Capital Harness tools.
• Design circuit breaker panels and control panels using CAD tools like NX.
• Research and prepare engineering drawings to meet specific requirements at minimum cost.
• Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.
• Perform electrical load analysis and develop load shedding schemes.
• Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft platforms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with 0-2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to travel to flight lines and work in aircraft hangar environments.
• Experience in the defense aerospace industry (preferred).
• Experience interpreting SOW, requirements, and Systems Definition (preferred).
• Knowledge of CAD and PLM software, including NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
• Knowledge of Siemens Capital software (preferred).
• Active Secret security clearance or higher (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
