Senior Associate Electrical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical systems for electronic equipment on aircraft and ground stations.
• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD and PLM tools.
• Perform electrical load analysis and develop load shedding schemes for various aircraft platforms.
• Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure requirements are met at minimum cost.
• Lead a small team of engineers by breaking down work packages and providing budget estimates.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff on technical processes and design methodologies.
• Interpret Statements of Work (SOW), system requirements, and systems definitions.
• Support the testing and integration of electrical systems directly on aircraft.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree with two years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft and ground systems.
• Graduate degree with zero to two years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft and ground systems.
• Six years of experience designing and developing electrical systems for aircraft and ground systems in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Capital Harness, NX, and TeamCenter.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Active Secret Clearance or higher (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
