Senior Architect, Camera ISP

What you'll do

• Develop and build world-class ISP systems for autonomous driving and robotics applications.
• Drive innovation in image processing algorithms and architectures using state-of-the-art deep learning methods.
• Research new camera application areas like Vision-Language-Action AI to identify technical requirements.
• Create ISP architecture specifications, functional models, and test plans in coordination with hardware and software teams.
• Perform human and machine-centric image quality assessments and algorithm complexity analyses.
• Represent NVIDIA’s ISP capabilities and technologies to internal groups, partners, and customers.

What we're looking for

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven experience in ISP architecture and imaging science for automotive, robotics, surveillance, and consumer cameras.
• Strong foundation in human- and machine-centric image quality assessment and algorithm complexity analysis.
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, Python, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Excellent communication skills for personal interactions, documentation, and presentation.
• Deep expertise in image science covering optics, HDR image sensors, and color/tone management.
• Experience developing and deploying deep learning-based ISP technologies in real-time camera systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and benchmarks for consumer, automotive, and medical imaging systems.
