Security Consultant, IT Systems Admin

What you'll do

• Install, configure, maintain, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems across on-site infrastructure.
• Securely configure, patch, and monitor systems in accordance with organizational and government standards.
• Use automation tools and scripts to standardize system configurations and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor system health and performance while proactively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Utilize security tools to identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risks, and implement necessary remediations.
• Respond to system and security incidents while coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the operation of AI/ML workloads and GPU-enabled technologies within HPC environments.
• Perform network administration tasks to support infrastructure needs.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and associated tools like Ansible, Satellite, or Insights.
• Experience in data center, compute cluster, or high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating administrative tasks.
• Experience with GPU-enabled systems, including driver management and support for AI/ML workloads.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, SIEM platforms, and operating in regulated environments.
