What you'll do

Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
Install, patch, and upgrade Linux operating systems and supporting software.
Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance to proactively address issues.
Support Red Hat Satellite for enterprise software deployment and system management.
Use Ansible to automate system administration and recurring operational tasks.
Troubleshoot hardware, storage, networking, and application performance issues.
Perform system performance tuning and optimization across production environments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must have an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain Interim Secret eligibility prior to start.
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant Linux Systems Administration experience, or additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Current DoW 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) is required prior to start.
Current Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or CompTIA Linux+ certification is required prior to start.
Must have hands-on experience administering, installing, configuring, patching, and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Must be local to or within commuting distance of Stennis Space Center, MS.
Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) or supercomputing environments (preferred).
