Satellite Processing Propellant Loading Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform satellite propellant loading operations and system tests per propulsion test requirements.
• Author and update operational procedures while implementing process controls for propellant systems.
• Plan and optimize workstation layouts to achieve intended throughput capacities.
• Define material flow plans and manufacturing processes for the production line.
• Specify and procure equipment and systems to meet program development requirements.
• Resolve anomalies and implement corrective actions through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage work order definitions and automated documentation processes.
• Provide payload compliance certification sign-offs for satellite processing.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience working with mechanical and/or propulsion or pneumatic systems.
• 1+ years of experience authoring and executing test procedures that verify test requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport.
• Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.
• Experience in space vehicle or satellite operations (preferred).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Lean techniques, PMP, or similar standards (preferred).
• Export Control.
