The SAP Cloud Solution Architect joins the CCS Chief Architect's Office as a strategic technical leader focused on accelerating the adoption of SAP solutions on the Microsoft platform. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners by designing architecture for SAP S/4HANA, RISE, BTP, and hybrid cloud environments. The architect will perform technical discovery, migration readiness, and post-deployment optimization while resolving complex blockers through collaboration with engineering and product teams. Key responsibilities include developing joint strategies with GSIs and creating reusable IP or reference architectures. Required expertise includes SAP S/4HANA, Basis, BTP, HANA, and Azure infrastructure including networking, security, and monitoring. The role integrates these capabilities with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Copilot, and Power Platform to modernize enterprise environments and drive measurable business outcomes through advanced cloud architecture.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for joint SAP and Microsoft customers regarding architecture strategy and deployment guidance.
Architect SAP S/4HANA, RISE, BTP, and hybrid cloud solutions using Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
Drive technical discovery, migration readiness, and post-deployment optimization to accelerate workload expansion across the Azure platform.
Identify opportunities to integrate Microsoft Fabric, security, data, and AI solutions into existing SAP environments.
Collaborate with GSIs and partners to develop joint technical strategies, reference architectures, and solution accelerators.
Resolve complex technical blockers by coordinating with engineering teams and influencing product roadmap priorities.
Mentor other architects and contribute to technical communities to maintain expertise in SAP and Azure technologies.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
10+ years of experience designing, migrating, integrating, and operating enterprise SAP environments on Azure or other major cloud platforms.
8+ years of experience leading architecture, design, and technical advisory engagements with senior technical decision-makers.
Proven expertise in Azure infrastructure for SAP including networking, identity, security, monitoring, and high availability.
Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships and provide strategic guidance using Microsoft technologies like Fabric, Azure AI, and Copilot.
Strong track record of collaborating with SAP, Microsoft, system integrators, and consulting partners to deliver joint solutions.
Authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
